  • Information that we receive from processing customers' accounts, such as deposit accounts and loans, as well as information that we receive from providing services, such as trust services to customers.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. We do not disclose any nonpublic information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. We restrict non public personal information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We may disclose:

  • The information we collect, as described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. Financial institutions include insurance agencies.
  • Information made with the consent or at your direction, provided that the consumer has not revoked the direction or consent.

  • Information to persons holding legal or beneficial interests relating to the consumer or persons acting in a fiduciary or representative capacity relative to the consumer.
  • Information specifically permitted or required by law (and in compliance with the Right to Financial Privacy Act) to law enforcement agencies including government regulators, self-regulatory organizations, or for an investigation on a matter related to public safety.
  • Information disclosed to a consumer-reporting agency in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the disclosure of information reported to the bank by a consumer-reporting agency.
  • Information disclosed to a nonaffiliated third party in connection with the proposed or actual sale, merger, transfer or exchange of a bank or an operating unit of a bank (provided that the information disclosed relates only to consumers of the same unit).
  • Information disclosed to comply with federal, state or local laws, rules or other applicable legal requirements, or to comply with a properly authorized civil, criminal or regulatory investigation, subpoena or summons, or to respond to judicial process or governmental regulatory authorities having jurisdiction over the bank for examination, compliance, or other purposes authorized by law.
