- How frequently is my CornerBank information updated?
- Online Banking is updated several times throughout the day with transactions occurring that business day.
- Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?
- With Online Banking you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Check images are also available online. When you're looking at your account page, you'll notice the check numbers are underlined - that means they're linked. Simply click on the check number to view the image.
- Any computer that has Internet access with a web browser capable of supporting 128 bit encryption can be used to access online banking. If you are using the latest web browser from Microsoft or Netscape, you probably are already using 128 bit encryption.
- What keeps my financial information safe?
- We have taken extraordinary steps to insure your information and banking transactions are safe. The 128 bit encryption method we employ rewrites all the information in a mathematical code, which is only deciphered by the bank and your computer. This code is changed every time you connect with Online Banking. We also employ other confidential security measures.
- Is the Internet safe for banking transactions?
- Because we use the latest data encryption techniques, and employ other security measures, your Online Banking transactions are as safe as using one of our ATMs or one of our convenient locations.

- How long does it take to set up a new payee in the bill payment system?
- Once you have entered a new payee into the Electronic Bill Payment System, it takes two business days to set up the payee to receive payments.
- Even though it takes two business days to set up a new payee, can I still enter a bill payment to the new payee during those two business days?
- Yes. You may enter a payment to your new payee immediately. However, the payment will not actually be made until the payee is set up. Any payments made to the payee before the payee is added to the system will be delayed in reaching the payee by approximately two business days.
- After I make a bill payment, how long does it take for the money to be debited from my account?
- The money will be debited electronically from your account within 1 to 3 business days starting on the business day following the payment date. If you make a payment on Monday, you can expect the money to be debited from your account by Wednesday or Thursday of the same week.
- How long does it take for a payment to reach the payee?
- A payment that generates an ACH payment will credit the payee's account within 1 to 3 business days. If the payee isn’t set up to receive electronic payment, the system sends that payee a paper check. A paper check will take up to 10 days.
- How do I actually use the Electronic Bill Payment System?
